Our Mission:
The Smallwood Crescent Community Centre is a non-profit organization that provides programs and services for the tenants of Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and the general public. These programs include social programs, educational programs, employment programs, recreational programs, health programs, todddler programs, and poverty reduction programs. The overall goal of these programs is to enhance Community Capacity Building and community spirit.

WELCOME to the Smallwood Crescent Community Centre! Browse and meet our friendly staff and learn more about our many programs and services. We offer all sorts of activities at our Centre including After School programs, Toddler Programs, Homework Haven, Fun Days, Coffee Time, Bingos, Scrapbooking, Seniors Socials, and much much more. If you’re looking for a job, drop by and we can help you with your resume, faxing, or refer you to one of our employment programs or to one of our many employment partners. If you feel like cooking up a scoff or having a cup of tea, drop by our very beautiful and newly opened Community Kitchen!! At the Smallwood Crescent Community Centre, there is something for everyone of all ages!

Letter from the program co-ordinator
Hello, I am Rhonda Emberley, the program co-ordinator at the Smallwood Crescent Communtiy Center. On behalf of myself and the entire staff I would like to welcome you to Smallwood Crescent. I have watched the Center grow and continue to Prosper over the years thanks to our many participants and the support of everyone in the community. It has been a pleasure to see our programs multiply and expand. We are always excited to see new faces, so we encourage you to join in on the many activities our centre has to offer.
