Youth Outreach Program

Are you under 30?

Thinking of looking for work? Going back to school? Starting you own business?

Don't Know where to start?

The Smallwood Crescent Community Centre has partnered with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador's Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment to provide youth on the Burin Peninsula with information on career related programs available to them.

The Youth Outreach Information Coordinator is available to assist youth in finding employment and making career decisions that can affect their future in a positive way. Information sessions will be held in various communities on the Burin Peninsula and all youth aged 17-29 are invited to attend. Please check the schedule for the next session in your area.

The youth Outreach Information Coordinator is also available for drop-ins and one to one appointments at the Smallwood Crescent Community Centre, 12 Smallwood Crescent, Marystown.

For more information or to schedule a presentation in your area, please contact (709) 279-3643 or email renee.pike@nf.aibn.com

Services are available Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:30pm.
